I’m still three hours from home, 988 kilometers under my wheels and 15 heavy truck dashboards now have GPS. I’m well past a thousand dashboards now, 700 of which I installed breathalyzers in (a couple of them more than once). Today I saw the worst dash I’ve ever seen.
The following truck manufacturers can eat a dick: Freightliner, Mack.

had to be there, it was a freightliner that someone must have opened the dash with a crowbar. full of pop rivets and pipe hangers, oh and the wiring looked like burnt technicolor spaghetti. It was a long day, with more than one truck in a million pieces at a time. I’m supposed to be doctor dashboard but end up chasing wires down to transmissions and such. Got so busy forgot about the internet. I’ll put up a pic of a Western Star Dash, 87,000 miles of wire, all the same colour.
